Basic Sales & Use Tax Workshop

This instructor-led workshop walks business owners through the tax basics of owning and operating a business. Topics discussed are preparing and filing a sales and use tax return, how to support and report exempt sales, what's involved with using a resale certificate, determining what is taxable and nontaxable labor, and how to maintain adequate records. This workshop is presented by the California Board of Equalization.
